‘Guiding us every inch of the way’
‘Reasons for the commission:
1. We wanted a personal piece of art for our new home
2 .Approaching retirement we wanted a reminder of our working life
3.Having many family photos, both traditional and digital images we needed them organised and be presented in a special way, so we could enjoy them on a daily basis, not left in a cupboard or in the depths of some drive or cloud.
4. We wanted to support Lu in her new venture.
Having just acquired our retirement home we wanted a decorative piece of art that also reminded us of our working life and family history. These memories were contained in many traditional photographs and digital images that were hidden away in a cupboard or on some far away cloud ! We wanted them on display and to be enjoyed, but we needed help. We described what we wanted, and Luciana accepted our commission with great enthusiasm. She set to work going through all out photos, selecting some and enhancing much of the older material, and also taking more images to bring our story right up to date. We had previews on a regular basis, Lu taking onboard our comments and guiding us every inch of the way. The final result was a beautiful picture in its own right, but also telling our family story going back four generations. We are absolutely delighted, thank you Luciana’.

‘I first discovered Luciana’s work when watching a tv show one rainy afternoon. When I saw her work I just loved what she created so I looked her up on the internet. I was looking for a piece of artwork that was unique to our family and something that would tell the story of who we are and what we love to do.
I contacted Luciana and there our journey began. Following a combination of photos, email and Skype calls Luciana created our unique piece aptly named ‘my kind of wonderful’ (which was the song myself and my husband first danced to at our wedding).
Luciana is such a talented lady and an absolute pleasure to deal with. She really cares about her creations and wants you to love what she creates and I cannot recommend her enough.

‘Insight, creativity
and passion’
‘Luciana recently created a stunning piece of artwork. She spent time to not only understand the brief, but to appreciate the context, the values that underpinned the request and the core essence about what was important in creating the artwork. To be honest the brief was vague and ambitious. Luciana has a wonderful, non judgemental, creative stance and took enormous care and regular communications in ensuring she was on track with the request. When she showed me the work, it quite frankly took my breath away. Her insight, her creativity and her passion for her work are simply inspiring. I have already asked Luciana to help me with other projects. I value her integrity and her wisdom highly and have already highly recommended her to others’.
